How We Farm
We strive to nurture and maintain the natural ecology of the land. We are always working to build better soil health with practices. We do most work by hand using no-till and traditional methods (organic practices), no spray, cover cropping, companion planting, integrated pest management and old timey technology to grow on a farm scale with a garden feel.
We purchase seed from small farms and seed producers who are committed to cultivars that are culturally relevant, climate resilient and not commodified and controled by corporate interest. Self determination is an antidote to systemic oppression. We DO NOT buy seeds from multinationals participating in genetically modifying food or otherwise engaged in corporate capitalism. We save seeds and move with the flow of these changing times.
